Download Free Ford Focus Supercharger System Installation Instructions .pdf Before starting, be sure the vehicle has 91 or better octane fuel in it. DO NOT try to run the vehicle at full throttle at sea level altitude with a supercharger unless the fuel tank is filled with good 91-octane fuel. Failure to heed this warning can result in severe engine damage. Tools Needed: 8, 10, 11 (7/16”), 12, 13 (1/2”), 14 (9/16”), 15, 17, sockets and wrenches, a 5mm Allen wrench, Phillips and straight blade screwdrivers, and a telescoping magnet. You will also need a #30 Torx bit to remove the throttle body from the stock intake manifold. Most of these tools are available at your local hardware or auto parts store.
